An outdoor recreation opportunity for kids 16 & under

Crosslake Parks & Rec and Crosswoods Golf Course are offering an excellent opportunity for kids to learn the life long sport of golf in a fun atmosphere.  This year’s junior golf league will again feature instruction based around U.S Kids Golf Personal Tee program.  Personal Tee is a golf curriculum your child will enjoy and definitely be able to measure skill improvement.  There is a take home booklet for each level of instruction.  Each child can progress through the program at his/her own pace and will improve skills through instruction and practice.  A knowledge and skills test is given in order to advance to the next level. The back 9, par 3 course, and practice facility will all be used to develop each child’s skills.  The league kick-off will begin on Monday, June 18 and continue throughout the summer for eight sessions.  Everyone will meet at 9:00 am for the first session.  Following the first session, the juniors will be flighted according to ability and have a designated meeting time each week there after. There will also be 3 junior tournaments held during the summer.  Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult while golfing. 

You have the choice of a $175 fee which would include the 8 session program and unlimited golf throughout the summer or a $106.50 participation fee for just the 8 sessions (only rainout refunds for missed sessions).  Each session includes clubs, range balls, golf, and lunch.  The program is limited to the first 30 paid golfers, so sign up today to ensure your child can participate in this wonderful golfing program.
